and the Art Museum 1.5 blocks in from the beach
Everyone in Olas Altas knows where to go for
a quick ceviche when you just can´t wait any longer. Santos is
always ready and awaiting his clients outside his kitchen with ceviche
to-go or to eat there. There are a number of tasty items on his menu;
here´s a little help identifying what´s what.…
Camarones para pelar: peel and eat shrimp
Campechana: A very popular way to enjoy seafood
in Mazatlán, a lightly warmed soup with all kinds of seafood
from octopus to clams and oysters. Locals will take it with lime and
salsa and swear by it for their hangovers!
Cotel de pulpo/camaron: Octopus or Shrimp Cocktails
Jaiba: Fresh water crab….very tasty….sometimes cooked, or
served raw, ceviche style.
(Menu varies daily and will change with the fishing seasons
in Mazatlán.)
